I was driving when I learned from Iowa Public Radio that journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort, and two others, were arrested after providing journalistic coverage of the protest at the church in Minnesota, where an ICE agent is the pastor. Whether it is legal for the protesters to disrupt a religious service is a matter for the courts to decide.
However, the Trump administration's arrest of two journalists for reporting is a violation of the First Amendment, and should send chills down the spine of every American.
The purpose of the arrests is obviously an attempt to silence anyone who disagrees with the Trump administration, and would include good journalists across the country.
