The SUPERMAJORITY PLAN TO IMPEACH TRUMP and HIS ADMINISTRATION
It will take 292 house and 67 senate votes to obtain a supermajority vote. This is the key to accomplishing anything in the house or senate. The house and senate will be able to impeach Trump and his administration for their crimes and corruption.
The Democrats are the only ones that will stand against Trump. We have to vote out as many republicans as possible.
EVERYONE IS GOING TO HAVE TO VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS IN THE NOVEMBER 3RD MIDTERM ELECTIONS TO MAKE THIS WORK
Make sure you share this with everyone you know without social media. People without social media are unaware how corrupt and detrimental Trump’s administration really is for our country. The media outlets do not post anything negative about Trump. Some people don’t even know what the midterm elections are or how important they are.
TRUMP, HIS ADMINISTRATION, HIS BILLIONAIRE PEDOPHILE NETWORK , AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ARE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE WORKING CLASS TO SURVIVE.
Perhaps someone recorded the high school student speech. I know that Aimes speech was good example of how to move an issue such as the trans issue into
Wichtendahl's speech was great — she didn't let her identity become the story, she made it the lens. By framing attacks on trans Iowans as attacks on all Iowans' healthcare, autonomy, and dignity, she turned a wedge issue into a unifying one. That's exactly the kind of political storytelling the moment demands. Republicans wanted division; she delivered solidarity. Other politicos should take notes.
BOB - I was there and I am very glad that you were too. I especially appreciate the drone footage of the crowd as I was unable to adequately capture it from where I was sitting. I also appreciate having the link to Aime Wichtendahl's speech. It was the best one of the day IMO. I'd really like to know how large that crowd was.
Yes, I would love a crowd count, too. Laura Belin was looking for one too. I have drone at home, but didn’t bring it. I climbed up as high as I could on the Historical building and took those shots. Thankfully, no one caught me! Thanks for showing up!
I find a lot of signs quite colorful and look so professionally made. It is great to see so many people out and so fortunatel not have to be working that day. We are so fortunate in America. My first thought about the signs about no war. In countries like N. Korea, China, Russia having a sign like that in those countries a person would have no days off from labor camps.
Are you looking at my photos, Do? The vast majority, if not all, are homemade. Yes, we are lucky, but only for now. The MAGA regime wants an authoritarian government like those you mention. The only way it isn’t going to happen is if we continue to fight for our freedoms. Welcome aboard, Do!
I SAID LOOK 'so professionally' NOT that they were but so nicely done, WOW! Now u say 'possibly' all were homemade, great.. I have learned it so much easier to criticize than to compliment, or promote common sense workable ideas. I'm more concerned if we make a major government change in a big swing.
A BIG swing one way and then a big swing the other way is never good and may get out of hand. Democracy may be in trouble, history shows when a government continually gets more and more people on the doll out roles and addicted to free food, benefits and services people get addicted to such and the power will rule.
I love that you are willing to learn, Do. Turn off MAGA media for a bit. As of early 2026, the Trump administration has rapidly expanded a network of immigration detention facilities, often described by critics and human rights advocates as a system of concentration camps, intended to support mass deportation efforts. The detention system, with over 70,000 people in custody as of February 2026, includes both established and newly created sites, with plans to convert warehouses into further facilities.

Key locations and plans mentioned in reports include:
Fort Bliss, Texas: A large tent city known as "Camp East Montana" or "Lone Star Lockup" was opened on this military base, designed to hold thousands of detainees.
Florida Everglades ("Alligator Alcatraz"): A detention center with tents and trailers was built on a remote airstrip, sometimes referred to as "Alligator Alcatraz".
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba: Plans were directed to expand the Guantanamo Migrant Operations Center to potentially hold up to 30,000 migrants.
Decommissioned/Converted Sites: The administration has used military bases and converted large industrial spaces, such as in Surprise, Arizona, and areas in Pennsylvania and Maryland, into detention centers.
Other Sites: Reports indicate that detention centers are being activated in other locations, including in Florida and Texas, with a 1,000-bed facility set for Indiana.

These facilities have been characterized by critics as concentration camps due to the mass detention of people without trial, harsh conditions, including poor hygiene, limited medical care, and reports of mistreatment.
Yup, I may have had something. We had such a ridiculous swing the other way and now it has had a bad swing this way. I wouldn't expect critics to say anything else! Also does all these numbers tell u something.... how far the big swing had gotten? Now if someone has a constructive and sensible idea on how to move these massive numbers on out please come forward.
Seriously? If you had brown skin and a Hispanic name, I'm sure some incompetent ICE agent would be glad to throw you on the ground and take you to one.
I am serious, where are they all at. I live in a community with lots of Latinos. Not near as many work in the pork harvesting plants that did several years ago. Some have started businesses providing needed services to the swine industry, others work for businesses. They don't appear too concerned. But... IF they've been here for several years they know they were skating on not the best ice and have said so. Also have said as there were more and more of them why worry nothing was being done about it.
Yup, absolutely. I have notice in the pics I have seen the big majority are gang members who have no value for human life. What else should be done with them, maybe it will keep down the newbie gangbangers, ya think? Of course unfortunately the athorities have grabbed some that don't deserve it.
I would add to what I have below that at one detention facility, a woman was told she couldn't see her children unless she agreed to have sex with an agent in a closet, which happened with other guards standing by to allow it to happen.
There are many more than what I have below. Don't have time to write a book on the subject.

Several detention centers and prisons in the United States have been described as "hell holes" or "hell on earth" by inmates, attorneys, federal judges, and advocacy groups due to extreme violence, inhumane conditions, and severe understaffing. As of 2025-2026, many of these reports center on private, for-profit facilities contracted by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) or the U.S. Marshals Service.
Leavenworth Detention Center (Kansas): Described as an "absolute hell hole" by a federal district judge in 2021, this CoreCivic-run facility was marked by understaffing, violence, and drug issues. Despite closing in 2022, plans to reopen it as a facility for ICE detainees prompted residents to fight its reopening in 2025, with opponents citing its history as a site of "humanitarian and civil rights abuses".
South Texas Family Residential Center (Dilley, Texas): Frequently labeled a "hellhole" by advocacy groups, this ICE facility has been accused of keeping families, including children, in inhumane conditions with inadequate medical care and food. Reports from early 2026 suggest families face long detention times, with some children held for over 100 days.
Adelanto ICE Processing Center (California): Detainees at this facility, run by Geo Group, reported "hell on earth" conditions in late 2025, alleging harassment, medical neglect, and severe restrictions, including being placed in "restrictive housing units" (solitary confinement) for protesting, according to the Guardian and immigration attorneys.
As we know sexual abuse in our regular prisons is a major nightmare from guards as well as inmates. For both situations because of the amt of people in such places, it has become a major problem and burden.
I realize it has bad problems, but maybe the big pendulum swing has most unfortunately had some of this happen. What's ur idea to solve this? Let it sure go like has been the last few year, yes, sure?

WE HAVE TO STOP THEM FROM DESTROYING THE COUNTRY
Agreed!
We had 60 people here in Eldora. I don't know how many in Marshalltown.
Perhaps someone recorded the high school student speech. I know that Aimes speech was good example of how to move an issue such as the trans issue into
issues that affect a broader group of people.

Agree. Highlight of the day. The High School student had a compelling text and delivery as well.
I heard part of the high school student, but was out of position to record, darn it.
I have friends who are working on Saturdays and lament their inability to be present at protests. We all find our way to participate.
Love this! Hometown proud. 🥹
Thank you for capturing the passion of the people who showed up to protest. It was a good day.

Hey there Bob, thanks I don't get many likes from u!!!
I give you likes when you add to the conversation in a way that is constructive, or when I learn something. Your thoughts are always welcome.
Well..... if I offer different perspective usually no 'like'.

Unlike here where having brown skin will get you in a hell hole detention camp for months or years.
Uh ? Where r these hell hole detention camps?

I sure u r sure, unfortunately when situations get so bad and a lot more people get involved bad apples do appear.
