Precious story in a great coffee shop! What a sweet boy. They always hang stockings of former employees which is a pretty sweet tradition - and two belong to my boys who worked/managed there. ❤️

Beautiful and an exercise in the Platinum Rule - Treat others as they would like to be treated. Thanks for starting 2025 on a kind note.

You never found out how he knew your name? That's a hoot! And a very sweet story. I'm learning that prayers come in all forms and mean all kinds of things. Good for you.

Well, you're pretty recognizable! His parents must've figured out who you were. What a sweet gesture...once you get over the god stuff :)

I'm glad you're out there doing good work, Bob, and letting down your defenses. I would like to be able to drop my own armor like that.

Was probably Clarence, who won his wings 78 years ago, putting them to good use. Curious why he would spot you as a particularly needy guy especially given the excellent Intelligence Service he has at hand. While in a crowd that size there were likely several Bobs--so perhaps you were just friendly fire--I suspect you were accurately targeted as a vessel for conveyance (if not contrition); I mean, look at all us known needy folks in this Comments section!

Merry Christmas--keep up the good work and make Clarence proud.

"Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." Hebrews 13:2. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to all reading this.

Merry Christmas, Bob. Sometimes it takes a child to remind of the importance of keeping “the main thing the main thing.” Who knows? The little guy may have been your Christmas angel. And, BTW, never pass up a prayer that has been offered. Enjoy your day (and keep writing).

Your prayer request was at least as beautiful as his offering of prayer. Merry Christmas, Mr. Leonard.
