Candidates should read your column here and July 22. Candidates should worry more about using their megaphones as candidates to endorse, educate and run on our democratic values. Worry less about woke; worry more about values underlying racism or sexism in society. l

Thanks, but woke is important in terms of being vigilant, as in wake up. All part of values. Don't buy what conservatives say woke is.
