Thanks for your story, l hope you keep writing. It reminds me of the time l lived in Eastern Washington on a farm of cherries, Peonies and Dutch Belted Cattle. It was such a great experience after living in Seattle most of my life.

It’s hard to want to take things slow these days. My mind wants instant fixes for those suffering and the unknown path we have unwilling been put on. I look forward to hearing the next story and a song you are listening to.

Joella, Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. A landscape of Dutch Belts and Cherry trees sounds wonderful :) I’m starting to try to weave a story together now.

Spot on, Seth! Im typing this trying to keep my tears from hitting the phone screen. Why can’t we get this in the way we relate to people??? How “slow of heart” we are, as Jesus said to the religious people of His day!

If Trump could read more than a paragraph, l would recommend this post be sent to him. But even if he read it, l don’t believe he would connect the dots to his manner of “governing “. Thanks for this post. It is uplifting to read that tough, hardworking Americans know what real leadership looks and acts like; and it is not what we are seeing in the White House.

Thank you for this column. The video points out, though, that the key to getting what you want is to make food readily available. The Trump campaign promised that. But, the hammer-over-the-head approach the campaign also promised cannot be the way we deal with our two herds of voters. An anecdote: I grew up in town (250 people) but the rest of my nearby family were dairy farmers. We would visit on Sundays. My uncles would tell me to go get the cows at 3 pm. I was astonished at my powers because they followed me to the barn. Such awe.
