As someone who camped in National Park Campgrounds as a family by tent, mini-home, and motorhome from grade school to senior citizen, as well as visited historic sites, I'm deeply saddened to think that future generations will never know the joy that comes from visiting national parks and monuments. Please do what you can to stop this travesty that should never have happened. It affects both parties, yet, no one seems to have enough spine to stand up to billionaires who spend their free time aboard yachts and on golf courses. Thank you for posting this.
Extremely powerful post and video Bob!! We need to get more rallies all over the country and right here in Iowa, because as you know, Iowa State Parks and public natural areas are under assault by the Republican dominated Legislature and Govenor's office. Oh, I wonder what Doug Burgum will think when Theodore National Park, in his home state of ND, will look like when no Federal employees are taking care of it? Please keep these posts continuing. This is close to my heart.

Outstanding video! Glad to hear Brian got his job back. With camping season opening soon, it should make it harder for Musk to get rid of them...we hope.
By attacking National Parks and Monuments, the Administration seeks to destroy what Americans most cherish. Why do they hate us so much? They are ill. Thanks for this piece!
I so much admire our dear friend Brian and his courage to stand up to the injustice he's faced, and to articulate so passionately what the Trump/Musk massacre will mean to Americans! And thank you, Bob, for helping to share Brian's passion for people and parks.
Thanks once again Bob, for sharing this story of Iowans rising to the challenge of this moment. It is scary, infuriating and full of hope. Quite a paradox.
Just one of the ways ordinary families will be affected by the loss of treasures they have taken for granted. Everyone should be paying attention to this ringing alarm clock.

Let’s hope we can stop it…
Robert, with limited time and input, you transformed a short video into a powerful call-to-action post! Thank you!
Thank you, Van. Good teamwork!

Thanks so much, Thomas. I'll do my best. Love the Solzhenitsyn quote...

And thank you, Larry, for your lifetime of working to protect and celebrate our natural resources.
Oh, I didn’t know this rally happened, I would’ve attended! Are there any additional ways to support these folks?
Public lands are one of our last refuges in this Red world. Your piece gave me some hope. Thank you!
