They go with their parents as they should. What concerns me is the 300,000 who came across our borders Biden lost. Thank God Homan will be looking for them. Sexually trafficked. Abused. Sold. Who knows where those babies are?

Part of me, albeit a very small part, hopes Trump succeeds in this. Considering that 73% of U.S. agriculture workers were not born here (according to the USDA), and a similar % now applies to other industries such as construction, we're heading for a train wreck of an economic disaster. Throw in his planned tariffs on China, Canada, and Mexico and anyone with a basic understanding of economics can easily predict what's next. $12 per gallon of milk, $15 for a head of lettuce, $14 for a dozen eggs, a new set of tires for your car - $2500, and a new roof on your house (if you can find anyone to do it) will set you back $75K. And the MAGA voter will say, "I didn't vote for this!" And we'll say, "Ah, yes, you did."

Iowans who lived in NE Iowa during the Postville raids, arrests, and deportations have witnessed what happened to families, children, schools, businesses..to society. Fortunately, during those raids, Culver/Judge supported the efforts of many of their cabinet (I helped lead it) to ameliorate the impact. But most people do not know this--it was only 16? years ago. Books have been written on Postville, but none of the books captured what was happening in NE Iowa, when the largest employer in a 50 mile radius, closed down. Iowa govt. helped significantly; probably many people in NE Iowa voted for Trump, forgetting about what happened.

Using Claude AI was genius❗️Whether or not the details were accurate, it was a point-by-point guide for facts to be drilled into by humans. And, using Claude for political analysis was a brilliant way to demonstrate what artificial intelligence can do.

For those of us who are hyper vigilant about facts and sources of information it is also the proverbial cautionary tale. Scary even.

THANK YOU‼️

Robert Leonard’s worst case scenario looks like exactly what Republicans want - the destruction of public education.

My biggest concern has always been, not the affect on our funding but where will these undocumented students be welcomed and cared for.

stunning research. I'm watching from France -- nowhere is safe from extremism -- and hoping that the worst doesn't happen, but it feels like faint hope.
